Learn-A-Test
instructions ...
The
Learn-a-Test web site asks for a library card number in order to register.
The Northeast Regional Library does not share its patron information
with Learn-a-Test in any way, therefore it is not necessary to enter
your library card number.

You must, however, use one of the library codes shown here, depending
upon which library you wish to register from. The 3-digit code must
precede a 7-digit number of your choice. Many patrons use their phone
number minus the area code, but any 7-digit number will do, as long
as the branch code is placed first. Learn-a-Test does not link a user
to a phone number, but you might be more comfortable simply making
up a 7-digit number that is easy to remember.
Example: 1621234567 for someone registering at Baldwyn. No spaces,
dashes, or parenthesis should be used. You will also choose a password
that should be easy to remember. You will be asked to enter the password
a second time, verify the library you are registering from, and you
will then be ready to use Learn-a-Test. One possible problem would
be if you created a user id that duplicated one already in existence.
You would then be asked to choose
a different sequence of numbers.
The
next time you return to the web site, you will choose "Returning
User", entering the same id and password you created the first
time.
