Catalog Search Guide

You may do a basic, advanced, or power search of the online catalog. All searches cover the following topics:

Author, List of Authors, Title, List of Titles, Subject, List of Subjects, Title/Subject, Words from Subject, Contents Keyword, Children's Author Keyword, Children's Title/Subject Keyword, Children's Subject Keyword, List of Series, AV Author/Performer Keyword, AV Title Keyword, AV Subject Keyword, ISBN/ISSN, Call Number.

If you would also like to log into your library account, see what you have checked out, renew your books, and place holds from home, all you'll need is your library card and a pin number. We will be glad to set up your account for home access. On your next visit to the library, please bring your library card and a 4-digit PIN number that will be easy for you to remember. Once the PIN has been added to your record, you will be ready to access your account from home.

A reminder about placing holds: To expedite the process, please be sure to place holds on copies of items in your local branch first.

When you search our catalog, whether from home or at one of our branches, certain codes are used to denote the status and location of the items.
No status code means the item is in.

TR = In Transit to a branch to fill a hold	BL = Blue Mountain
M = Missing	BO = Booneville
L = Lost	BU = Burnsville
