My name is Sara Snoddy, and I’m the Branch Manager at Iuka Library. I began working for the Northeast Regional Library System in 2024. I’ve had a passion for reading and writing stories since I was little, and I studied journalism, writing, and literature in college. One thing that I’ve been excited about starting here at our library are the new (and expanding!) anime and manga sections. When I’m not reading, you can find me with my cats Cleo and Claude, rewatching Twin Peaks or the GBBO, and baking Swedish buns.
Fun facts about me:
– The “first” book I read was The Hobbit.
– Horror, fantasy, lit fic, and memoirs are my favorite genres.
– I prefer audiobooks over eBooks.
– I’m in House Slytherin.
– My favorite colors are green and black (coincidence).
– The last anime I watched was The Apothecary Diaries.
– I have an unhealthy love of SpongeBob SquarePants.
