BEES Release Butterflies and Balloons The BEES released butterflies and balloons at the Corinth Library today. The balloons contained the names of soldiers who never returned home. The BEES (Best Ever Extraordinary Seniors) is an outreach ministry of First United Methodist Church for senior citizens 55 and older.

National Library Legislative Day in Washington Mississippi libraries were well represented during National Library Legislative Day in Washington last week. The group attended lots of informative sessions on library advocacy and were able to meet with Mississippi Congressional members. In attendance were Sarah Mangrum, MLA President, Meredith Wickham, MLA Legislative Chair, Sarah Ruskey, MLA Vice President, Hulen Bivins, MLC Executive Director, and Suzanne Poynor, MLC Board Chair.
